Ronin Hart
Ronin Hart is a writer drawn to the places where the familiar becomes strange.
Writing across the boundaries of literary fiction, speculative fiction, and psychological storytelling, Hart is interested in characters caught between the lives they have built and the lives they might have lived. His stories often begin with a simple question and follow it somewhere considerably less simple—into memory, identity, isolation, obsession, and the quiet consequences of the choices people make.
Hart's fiction is marked by an interest in atmosphere and interiority, but never at the expense of story. His characters are placed in situations that demand movement: a decision that cannot be undone, a mystery that refuses to remain buried, or a world whose rules are not quite what they first appear to be.
His work includes Baku, serialized by Moji Press.
Hart writes under a pen name and maintains a deliberately private public profile. For him, the work is the introduction.
